(2013) The hill

While checking my old files I stumbled upon this rough painting that I made and completely forgot until now, so I decided to share it so you finally get to see it.

Back in 2013 I was experimenting with a painterly style using SAI, as you can see in this other example: Link

I wasn't particularly good at it, the painting is pretty rough and is lacking of details, but I was just trying to learn new techniques and expand my skill set, so it works fine for what it was supposed to be.

What you're seeing here is a concept art for one of the locations were the story of Tabby and Company takes place, more exactly a hill that's located near their house, from were you can easily see the entire city and some important landmarks.

I rarely share these concepts because I don't want to set anything in stone, but I think I've grown attached to this location and I don't think I'll change much about it. I hope you like it.
